October 16 Prayer
““What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you?
What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God?
Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world.”
Luke 12:6-7, Eph.1:11-14
How do I view my own Soul?
Do I value it and nurture the part of me that is unseen, the hidden in secret parts?
We each belong to God and have been marked by him, like a tattoo so to speak made by the Holy Spirit.
I wonder what that mark looks like to God?
I wonder if we each have a unique marking according to our heavenly name?
Maybe it’s the name that is written on the white stone given to us that only we recognize…or a symbol that only we know of.
He is that personal and we are truly His beloved.
Consider the state of your soul currently and let the Holy Spirit reveal to you the seal of hope that He has placed upon you.
Let a word or image come that you will know is just for you.
‘Creator God we recognize you as the One who holds all of our issues and struggles.
Everything that is hidden in the secret places of our hearts we let come into the light.
Because we trust you more than we trust ourselves and we have no need for fear. Everything matters to you, the big and the small.
May we know our hope-promise that is sealed upon us for the purpose of praise to your glory.
May our souls grow up into the very marking you have placed upon us and know how precious we are to You.
We relinquish every thought that is not real and the facade that we hide behind.
May your Holy Spirit release us into the freedom of who we really are and to know our own name. We belong to you.
All Praise be to the glory of the Three in One.
