October 1 Prayer
“I know my redeemer lives and will stand strong upon the earth.
...I will see Him.” Job 9
How long does a trial last and when will suffering be over?
When will we see our redeemer live and bring justice upon the earth?
We have only our own little lives to offer him but it is all we have.
The Beloved hears our cries and draws close to those who seek him.
Open your heart space to draw near to him today and pray.
“ O God will you restore us, and grant us your salvation?
In whatever we are facing may we still believe you are our redeemer.
In our own small sufferings may we choose hope.
May we seek You In simplicity and purity of heart.
Help us to know the brevity of life and
teach us your hidden wisdom.
Strengthen us to forgive as You forgive.
To act justly as You act justly.
Give us courage to surrender ourselves to the
Love of Jesus and the grace of the Holy Spirit.
May we use every occasion to show love and
see every situation as a potential step
along the path of sanctity.
“O God, restore your people to love and
Let us be known as repairers of broken walls.”
We seek you this day to restore all the broken places
in our own souls and offer them up to you.
For we know our redeemer lives and we will see Him,
May we all do little things with great love today.
