June 5 Prayer
Saturday Slow Down
A Blessing to
Slow into stillness
Let a lightness emerge in
the space for waiting.

There is a lighthouse there centered
embedded upon a strong solid jetty
out in the middle of the sea.

Where storms come and waves rise high
‘There is a rock much higher than I.’

A strength from a contentment in knowing
All things will pass away
Only the One will remain forever.

Today in the slow down
receive this blessing of stillness.

Where you are striving,
receive the blessing of surrender.

Allow your soul to slow down into the
center of the here and now.

In the oneness with the One that makes you strong, solid and sure in the passing of time.

And say your own yes to the blessing that is within you.
Say a yes to…‘It is well with my soul.’
