Let #Peace come to you this day!
December 7 #Advent Prayer

Comfort My People

Peace comes when we are in need of comfort
When everything within us cries out

When there seems to be no other way
Here is your God
He comes

This advent of waiting
Seek Him with your whole heart
Seek Peace to come in every part of you
Even the hidden places where you are afraid to let him in

He will gently lead you out into the light
For nothing is hidden from him

Receive the blessing of peace this day
Let it come and lift heaviness off your shoulders
Smooth out the rough edges
making an open roadway appear

“Lord, we will walk with peace as our guide
May you go before us and behind us
Keeping our hearts firm and our voices filled with strength

For here you are
with us
Emmanuel

Lord Jesus
Come!
Be our peace today
We pray and bring peace to our broken world”
Amen
