​August 31 Prayer
“Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD ’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all.

‘I did not come with clever speech nor persuasive words but only to know Jesus and the power of the cross. That your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.1Cor2:1-5
Trust,what do we trust in and rely on? With knowledge so easily accessible and words proclaimed all around us it is easy to think we know everything.
‘The wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God’ vs7
Let’s pause and let go of all that we think we know and rest in this mystery of Christ’s power in us.
We can rest in the not knowing of everything and in everything we know in God we are being held.
May we look for Jesus in everything ,
Where one suffers , He is there ,
Where there is a wrong he will make it right.
He gives us the power to forgive
The power to love unconditionally those we disagree with.
Power to live in line with God’s voice in everything.
We give you our own wisdom , our own knowing
so we may truly trust in your power in us.
May we rest and trust in this power, the mystery of your wisdom
To blow our minds beyond our imaginations into what you have ‘prepared for those who love you .’
God, you are the power of wisdom .
