Saturday Slow Down

Slowdown the wandering and wondering
The many words you may think and say

Slowdown the worries of the future
Be
Right here
Now
In the life situation you are in

There is only one thing
One word
One being
In the boat with you
As you back into the future

There is the One
Whose eyes stay on yours
Whose very presence will guide you
For their eyes see ahead and
yours see what has past

Today
Slowdown
Without words
To be in the now
And offer a very short prayer
For God listens
to short prayers.
