October 19 Prayer
Where do my eyes turn this morning as the sky turns from clear to cloudy? I wait in silence and look inside my heart to see what my focus is upon .
Reading the words of Jesus, to guard yourself from all kinds of greed, and in Ecclesiastes; What profit comes from all the toil and anxiety of heart with which you work under the sun?
….Be rich towards God and not focus on storing up security and possessions for what will happen to the things you have prepared after your life is over? Luke 12
Where has my focus been?
What really matters to God?
What anxieties are in the forefront of my behavior?
Now I turn and see where God who is rich in mercy has placed me. He has brought me out of death into life , Raised me up into glorious perfection in the heavenly realm and co-seated as one with Christ,
So that I and that means we may fulfill our destiny that He has given to us, and grace abounds in the work to be completed through us. Eph.2:1-10
In this our eyes and heart may rest and take courage. Turn our eyes and thoughts on being rich towards God.
Whatever this day holds, if the clouds give way to blue skies once again or cover the earth with midst,
‘I will praise The Lord while I live’
Let our hearts be full of the riches of Christ and see ourselves as God sees us, where he has destined us for this very hour.
Breathe in life into the depth of your soul to be revived with his abundant grace.
Peace be still my heart .
“Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.”
Jude 1:24-25 NLT
