October 12 Prayer

Honor God
Give thanks
Through creation
to the Creator

Eternal power
Divine nature
Furious storms
swamped boats

Honest souls cry out
in fear and doubt

Doesn’t God care?
Where are you Lord when we need you?

He is there
all along He has been there
Resting
Within the Father's love and power

Watch and see
when the wind runs out of breath
And all fears are calmed
Within you

This is the Grace to believe,
To have faith in the middle of a storm.

It is only by a supernatural power that we can find this kind of peace.

As you pray today, take a very deep breath and recognize this ability is a gift from heaven above.

Bless the rest within you
As a place of refuge and a place of peace.

“In the unknowing we come to you, Lord.

We breathe in your sustaining power of grace to believe.

You are good,
You have this,
We can trust you above what is going on around us.
May we offer this kind of grace to others today.
As we look for you everywhere,
Thank you!”
