October 12 Prayer
“Lord, your love has poured out so Many amazing blessings on our land! You’ve restored Jacob’s destiny from captivity. You’ve forgiven our many sins and covered every one of them in your love. Ps.85:1-2 Luke 11:29-33 What kind of sign are we looking for in this time of unrest in our world? What is Jesus' heart for this generation we are living in? He calls us to turn from injustice and turn our hearts back to God. My heart is heavy from all the fear and conflict we hear about everyday. We are people of the kingdom of hope not to worry and fear about rulers and leaders of nations that we are unable to change. We can pray, we can voice our desires, we can speak truth in love and show kindness through listening to others. We can work together with Christ in this generation to leave behind a future and a hope for the next generation. We can offer a way that leads to life and goodness. We can through Christ combat evil with good, harm with blessings, care for carelessness. We can be people of hope no matter what happens! Stop and sink into a grounded place with Jesus. He is your place of peace and a sure standing. Pray Psalm 85; “Bring us back to You, loving God and Savior. Restore our hearts so that we’ll never again see you as an angry God of judgment. Revive us again, O God! We know you will give us a fresh start. Then all your people will taste your joy and gladness. Pour out even more love on us! Reveal more of your kindness and restore us back to you! We will listen carefully to your voice and wait to hear whatever you say. Let us hear your promise of peace, the message everyone longs to hear. Do not let us in our ignorance turn back from following you. May Your power and presence shine on all your lovers. May Your mercy and truth kiss. May Righteousness shine down from the sky May you keep raining down blessing after blessing. All glory be to the Three in One! We open our hearts for You to shine through us this day! Amen Comments are closed.
