November 1 Prayer

“On this mountain
He will remove the cloud of gloom, wipe away the tears and disgrace from all the earth.

Wait for it,
This is our God.
Who holds all the earth.
Who holds all things together.
Who creates a place for all the peoples of the world.

Today let us pray for our earth and all those living.

Lord Jesus,
You are the One with the Father and the Holy Spirit before all time that has created us.
And though and for you we are held together.
Move upon us now with a fresh wind to restore and heal what has been destroyed.

May we be a part of creating peace here where we live.
Through our prayers and the lives that we live.

We ask for wisdom and grace on how we treat one another and the earth we care for.
