“Today we follow The Good shepherds path as we pray for grace and peace for our world.
Consider your own heart with God as you read the poem below. May we all have courage to follow a new way . Resurrection-redirection. Rehabilitation of our nations. The world is too much with us, hating but not creating … Judging, judging, judging. The Love that comes from above…is pouring out in rain And the pain… Of old and young dying…and families crying. Please open our eyes. Stop letting the lies Control our minds! The virus was killing us before we knew it. The hate was strangling our hearts before we knew it….and then… You brought us all together as one and said: “Enough!” We reach out to You, dear Father, standing hand ‘n hand Asking: “What's the plan?” And You say “It is a Man… His Name is Jesus.” Time then passed and I took my place. I fell on my knees and sought His face. “Do not be troubled,” God said to me . “There's a road up ahead, set your eyes now and see.” “Though an army of COVID now marches your way, Hope's on the horizon, please, listen I say. Surrender the fears and lies of your youth.. Set it down at the cross and take on My Truth.” “I am with you in valleys and mountains…believe. There is hope in the struggle and you can receive. I have called you My people, My chosen, My own, Deep down, this you have known.” “I've opened My arms and shown you the Way. Shout now and sing as you humble and pray. Don't be surprised by troubles and trials, I am with you. I am with you. So, look up and smile!” Written by Ruthanne Howald 3-29 & 4-19-2 0 Comments are closed.
