December 7 Prayer
Isaiah 35 There is a roadway in the wilderness it is the holy way. Where does this road lead and who may walk on it? It is for the redeemed, the ransomed. Angels with messages are waiting for me to clear the clutter to make a way. Prepare the way for Spirit to come. How can I hear you if I am somewhere else? Preoccupied with fear and gloom, embedded with every distraction I can find not to listen, which way to go, where to stay. Let us make a way to see and a way to hear what is the holy way during these upsetting times. As Mary was immersed in her domestic duties, she was able to see an unexpected visitor giving a message she was ready to hear. In her youthfulness and willingness she was ready to walk a pathway, the most holy of ways. To carry within her Emmanuel and birth the promised one into the world's wasteland. Can I say, Here I am, I am here ready to listen, ready to be redeemed and ransomed? Ready to have the holy one dwell within me? First I must be forgiven, forgive myself for all of the roadblocks I have let prevent the way. Breathe in the love and acceptance of Christ. See His eyes of delight gaze upon you now. ‘May we clear out the clutter in our hearts so we may walk the holy way as restored, reclaimed, delivered from our fears. So we may hear the message for each of us just for today to walk in. May we see the wilderness and desert become green and spring forth blossoms.. ‘May our souls be a place for the splendor of God, to strengthen those who are tired and encourage the weak. To say to those with fearful hearts, be strong, do not fear for your God is coming to save you!’ Come, Lord Jesus, Come! Amen Comments are closed.
