December 4 prayer
Saturday Slowdown

Slowdown to feel the flicker from a small flame burning inside you
It’s the promise you have been waiting for
It is the hope that looks ahead

to seek him and find Him
with your whole heart where you are

Find his plan that is meant for your good
Seek his favor and you will find the promise.

Slowdown and breathe in the peace
that comes to you now and gives wings for your hope to rise.

Let this advent hope
turn into a prayer
in the season of waiting

Lord Jesus, Come
Prince of Peace

Come
