Slowdown the waiting

I know this seems so counterintuitive
It goes against the rush
and fast pace we all feel this time of the year

But even if for a minute
you could pause and
notice the waiting that you feel inside

hold it gently

asking for the grace
to
embrace the wait

Let a contentment rise
within you

“that all will be well.”

For there is someone greater than you that is here
In the waiting
And there he will be on the other side

Bless the slow wait today
With one long life giving breath
