August 22 Prayer
“Oh the depths of the riches both of the wisdom
and the knowledge of God!
How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways.
For who has known the mind of the Lord? Who knows enough to give him advice?
And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back?
‭‭“For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.” Romans 11:33-36
‭‭
Stop and be here a while to still all the questions and understanding in your mind.
There is a depth in the reservoir of God's being that is beyond understanding yet is to be found as we seek his presence with our whole heart. Jer.29:13
His knowing is beyond our knowing
His glory is in all things he has made to reveal who he is.
We are invited into this glory as his very own created beings to become a dwelling place for God.
Beyond understanding!

Breathe deeply in the depth of all that is beyond you .
To pray this prayer
‘Lord
I surrender all
My imagination ,
My memories,
My understanding of why things are the way they are.
All that I am, and all that I have
You have given to me
and to you
Lord I return it.
Give me your love and your grace
For you are enough for me.’

May we each seek You with our whole heart to know You where Your glory dwells.
For from You and in You and through You are all things.
To God be the glory forever!
