April 6 Prayer
John 20:11-18
She went looking,
Stood there weeping,
Outside the tomb
She heard him call “woman”
after her questioning then
she met her longing when He
called her name~
In our confusion and wandering
with our questions
Can we stop long enough outside
ourselves
To hear Him call our names?
Turn aside quickly from the dark tombs of
what if’s and blame
to hear Him call your name now.
And let Him send you,
And let His words resound within you,
And though you,
Until you have no more shame
holding you back,
for you have met the risen Jesus.
And He is risen in you!
We pray,
“Open the space within us
to let your life breath,
the peace of your Holy Spirit
to send us out and
tell others we have met You
here.”
