April 10 Prayer
Saturday Slow Down

“Do you love me”?
The question echoes in the wind swept bluff when I walk along the shore

“Do you love me?”

I hear in the passer by,
in the beauty of the creation that appears before me.

“Do you love me now?”

In the stillness and in the slowing down to notice
Me, even in your breath as a resting place to receive this day as a gift.

“Do you love me!”
Then look for me everywhere
and attend to my love.

Yes Lord, my heart responds
I love you!
Show me how.
