DAY 15 | Reconciliation
Today as we pray, we acknowledge that God has called us all to be ministers of reconciliation. We admit that God has reconciled us to Himself. We humbly affirm that we are ALL made “new” through Christ. We passionately ask the Holy Spirit to help us be reconcilers as people and a reconciling community as Cambria Vineyard Church.
2 Corinthians 5:16-19 (NIV) – So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Our Daily Crafted Prayer
Lord Jesus, we come to you as the only answer for us all.
We ask for your mercy and compassion to surround Gary and Barbara now.
Guide them and direct them to hear you clearly and draw near to you.
We ask for you to give them patient understanding as they seek you.
Help them to listen deeply.
Surround them with your ever present love and grace.
Strengthen and cover Gary to come away for a time of rest
with you to guide and direct him.
Heal and restore, bring your peace and wholeness.
We pray for our church that we will learn the
many things you desire to teach us.
Open our ears to listen and recognize your voice in new ways.
Open our hearts to be filled with your mercy and compassion for others.
Open our eyes to see where you are moving within us
and within our community.
Let us join in with you to pray:
Your kingdom come
Your will be done here in Cambria,
Here in your church, and
Here in our hearts.
Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have Mercy.
