Prayer will begin on Friday at noon through the night till Saturday afternoon at 4pm. You may let us know what your prayer requests will be to put on the list through an email please. Thank you.

SOMETHING TO CONSIDER:
I wanted to introduce myself to your church as the new Foster Family Development Specialist at Family Care Network Inc. Our county currently has a great need for foster parents of all kinds. Are you interested in learning more about what it means to be a Therapeutic Foster Parents through Family Care Network? I am currently looking for a few families in the Cambria area that might want to learn more. I would be happy to do an informational orientation to anyone who is interested.
“Religion that is pure and defiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” As a foster parent and adoptive parent I have found that God teaches us so much about his love for us when we do the difficult and beautiful work of loving children who have been wounded and who are mistrustful and often rejecting of our love. Healing happens in relationships, none more powerfully than the relationships in our home.
Our CEO Jim Roberts recently wrote an article on our blog (http://fcni.org/new_site/blog/ ) which stated, “the children are there but the families aren’t.” Please join me in finding and supporting the foster families that the children of our county need. Please click on the following link to our website for those who want to see more about what foster care options we offer through FCNI. http://fcni.org/get-involved/foster-parent/foster-parent-options You can always contact me via email or phone to learn more.
Blessings, Brooke Cone
